Too Faced Primed for Sex Mascara and Shadow Insurance Review

Hello guys! Sorry I was gone for so long but I am finally back! :)
I hope you are having a great 2015!

Today I have a review for you all. It is on the Too Faced Primed for Sex Set. I bought this from Sephora on Black Friday (I know it's been a long time). I paid $10 which I thought was a pretty spectacular deal. I have had a lot of time to try this set out so I figure that I would give you my thoughts.

Alright onto the review. First off I'll talk about the mascara that everyone and their mom raves about. Out of 5 stars I would give it a 3.5. Here's why, I think that it's a great mascara for volume and thickening. Since I have stick straight lashes this didn't hold my curl at all, which was what I expected since this mascara is not waterproof. It does give some length but not as much as I would have liked. I think that the brush and formula are great. You do get quite a bit of product. It is about 1/2 the size of the normal tube. Overall, I think that if this mascara had a waterproof option I would be sold but since it doesn't I don't think I would repurchase it.

Next is the also raved about Shadow Insurance. I absolutely despise this product. It is not worth the money to spend on. Out of 5 stars this would for sure give this a 1. Firstly, the product has the most disgusting smell. It smells like humid rain (if you can imagine that) and it is not pleasant. I would be able to deal with the smell if the formula was great but it wasn't. I have tried at least 10 times to get the product out, but all that comes out is this oily substance and a tiny tiny bit of the product. When I applied it to my eyelids it didn't soak in. All it did was make my eyelids super oily and irritated. I don't have anything positive to say of this product which I find unfortunate.

Recommend? I would only recommend the mascara if you don't have stick straight lashes. I think that if you have normal lashes you will fall in love with the mascara. I would not, however, recommend the shadow insurance to anyone. I am not sure if I just got a bad batch but I don't like it what so ever.

~Hope this was helpful to you guys!~

XOXO
